Indigo Sessions set to showcase Redditch talent in poetry, music and more!

REDDITCH charity Indigo arts launches its 2016 season of Indigo Sessions this Friday (February 5), at the Base on the Tudor Grange Academy site.

The sessions showcase local talent, in an informal evening of entertainment, including music, poetry and a bar!

Projects director Cathy Moss said: “We tried out the events as small fund raisers for the charity in 2015, when lots of local performers, and those working with Indigo got together to help bring money in to support our projects by sharing their amazing talents with the local community.

“They proved to be such great evenings, that we decided to set up regular sessions, and we hope to repeat them every other month throughout 2016.”

Any local performers who fancy getting involved in the Indigo Sessions, should get in touch with Cathy by emailing [email protected] with information about what you do. Any performance needs to be suitable for a small venue.

Friday’s Session includes Molly & Luke, Aimée Ford, Keri Whip, Abel Gray and more.

Tickets are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/indigoarts at £4 prior to the event, and £5 on the door. All proceeds go to the charity, to ensure continuation of their many arts initiatives in the town. The evening kicks off at 8pm with doors open from 7.30pm.
