MAKE a date for Parisian Céline Dommart when she sings classic French chanson, tango and jazz in the Room Upstairs at the Palace Theatre on Friday (April 29).
Following the release her EP ‘La Vie en Rose’ in early 2015 and airplay on BBC radio, Céline is now performing in a quartet setting, backed by former Guitarist Magazine Acoustic Guitarist of the Year Cris Tolley, Paul Smith on double bass and Robin Payne on drums and percussion.
Expect songs by Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, and Georges Brasssens, as well as many tunes familiar in English but with French, Spanish or Italian lyrics.
This is an opportunity to see a completely unique act delivering some Parisian sophistication to the UK.
Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £10 in advance & £11 on the day (*inclusive of booking fee £1 per seat up to a maximum £4) or you can purchase your seats online at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk
