Curtain up on Redditch panto fun

PANTO fever has struck Redditch this week as the tale of Beauty and the Beast hits the stage at the Palace Theatre.

With stars including pantomime-regulars Sam Attwater (Dancing on Ice) and Nicole Faraday (Bad Girls and Emmerdale) the show promises to get audiences in the mood for some festive fu.

Nicole, who plays the wicked Witch, said: “I could not imagine Christmas without the sparkle and the magic of pantomime and this year I am really looking forward to it because I get the play the baddy.”

30 year-old Sam Attwater, who stars as Gaston, added: “This is my 12th panto and I just love it.”




The story of Beauty and the Beast runs at the Palace until December 31 and tickets, which start at £16 for adults and £14 for children, are available from the Box Office.
