A CLASSIC tale by one of the greats of British entertainment is steaming into the Palace Theatre next Wednesday and Thursday (March 22-23).

The Ghost Train – written by Dad’s Army star Arnold Ridley, who played Private Godfrey – and performed by The Little English Theatre, it is one of the world’s best loved dramas.

First produced in 1925 and filmed no less than three times it offers thrills, chills and laughter.

Imagine the scene: Six passengers are stranded at a small Cornish railway station. Despite the psychic stationmaster’s weird stories of a ghost train, they decide to stay the night in the waiting-room.

Soon they regret this decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialise before a strange young man reveals the true reason behind the night’s events.

Tickets are available priced £16 in person from the box office or call 01527 65203 or book online at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk
