Redditch Editorial 1st Apr, 2017   0

A TANTALIZING three-tiered rock and roll show is heading to Redditch’s Palace Theatre next week, with tributes to Billy Fury, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley set to get audiences moving their feet.

Bring your dancing shoes next Friday (April 7) to see the trio of acts, ‘We Three Kings of Rock and Roll’, who will take audiences on a two hour journey through the songs of the greats.

From 7.30pm, Gavin Stanley will pay a sensitive tribute to the British king of rock ‘n’ roll Billy Fury, with performances of songs including ‘I Will’, ‘Another You’, ‘I Believe’ , and ‘Halfway to Paradise’.

Marc Robinson and his four piece Band the Counterfeit Crickets pay attention to detail with a tribute to Buddy Holly, as he puts on his horned rimmed glasses and holds his famous Stratocaster guitar high.

With a sprinkling of musical nostalgia, ‘Heartbeat’, ‘It Doesn’t Matter Anymore’ and ‘Peggy Sue’.

The final act in the show in tribute to three icons of rock and roll is none other than Elvis himself.

The king of rock and roll – as portrayed by Steve Halliday – will bring everything from the G.I. Blues to Blue Suede Shoes to the stage – with a number of authentic costume changes along the way.

Tickets are £19 from the box office or www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk
