A REDDITCH singer and musician is heading to America this week to record a brand new single.
After 2016 saw her reach number nine in the UK club charts and then go on to support Little Mix at the NEC Arena, Redditch’s pop star Keri Whip is jetting off to sunny Los Angeles to work with a team of music producers.
29 year old Keri will be joining two other artists from The Famous Company for a week of songwriting bootcamps, recording sessions and performance opportunities. Whilst in LA Keri will be working with a team of songwriters and producers whose credits include will.i.am, One Direction, Brian Eno andJoni Mitchell.
The aim of the trip is to give UK artists an opportunity to experience the height of the global music industry in the entertainment capital of the world.
Keri said: “Taking my music to LA is a dream come true. I’ve worked so hard and I’m super excited to be given this opportunity. America seems like a tapestry of intrigue and I can’t wait to enjoy this new experience”.
When Keri returns to Redditch, she has a busy schedule preparing for the release of the new single ‘Immortal’ including a UK tour to promote the track throughout the summer.
