THIEVES have stolen lead from the roof of Bordesley Hall in Alvechurch.
They struck at the 19th century country house on The Holloway between 12.20am on Friday and 8am on Monday.
PC Simon Albutt from Alvechurch and Wythall SNT said the damage caused to the roof and the replacement lead would cost hundreds of pounds.
He urged any witnesses or anyone with any information to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
