LED Zeppelin tribute band, Coda, are gearing up for their rock concert at the Railway Inn in Redditch to celebrate the 50th anniversary since the start of Led Zeppelin.

The band will play close to the original home of Led Zeppelin’s drummer, John Bonham.

Coda are hoping that the concert will attract fans of all ages, but particularly those who were able to see Led Zeppelin play during their first year on tour in 1968.

Simon Wicker, who plays the drums, said: “I am extremely excited about playing in Redditch and even more so because it’s the home of Bonham.

“The audience can expect the most exciting and authentic Led Zeppelin tribute act in Europe.

“Not only do we look like Led Zeppelin but we also move and sound like them too.”

The rest of the band is made up of Peter Byrne as lead vocalist, Adam Rose-Alison on guitar and Rob Deery on bass.

Simon added: “We are dedicated to providing the most incredible live shows that take our listeners back to the days when rock music ruled the world.”

Tickets to see the band are £8 in advance or £10 on the door.

Coda are playing in Redditch on August 4.
