ICONIC sportsman Jimmy ‘The Whirlwind’ White will be talking about his snooker legacy at Redditch Palace Theatre on Wednesday, September 4.
He’ll be chatting to BBC journalist Alex Belfield about everything from early days of century breaks, through to the ecstasy of major wins and 147s to the agony of missing out on the World Championship.
There will also be footage on viewing screens to accompany some of Jimmy’s stories and some magical snooker moments are promised.
During second part of the evening, the audience will have a chance to ask ‘The Whirlwind’ some questions about his life.
Jimmy will also be signing merchandise and there will be a photo opportunity with the former snooker player after the show.
