37th Signals Regiment to form guard of honour for D-Day Darlings gig

D-DAY is fast approaching at St Stephen’s Church when the brilliant all-singing girl group The D-Day Darlings drop in for a concert at The Church on the Green (aka St Stephen’s) this Saturday, October 6.

Forming a guard for the top trio will be members of Redditch’s own 37th Signal Regiment who will escort the ladies to the stage.

It’s the perfect time and venue to see the group too as they’ve just signed with Sony Music and with their debut album being released in November, it could be stadiums only for the Darlings.

Mark Reynolds, Warrant Officer Class 2, of 37th Signals Regiment said: “This is a great community event providing top class entertainment for local people.

“We have among our ranks some local military re-enactors who will be in attendance showing off their World War 2 memorabilia and uniforms.”

Tickets are £10 from The Word Bookshop, The Music Shop or can be reserved by calling 07484 641016.

All money raised will go towards the church restoration project.
