IT’S the question on everyone’s lips – did Shakespeare visit Alvechurch?
Well there’s an opportunity to find out when Alvechurch Dramatic Society presents The Merry Wives of Alvechurch from Thursday, November 23 to Saturday, November 25.
Set for Alvechurch Village Hall it will be the first time in the theatre group’s nearly 70 year history that one of their productions includes a substantial portion of a Shakespeare play.
Written by Alan Clarke and Chris Davies, the production features live music by Dave Howard and members of the Alvechurch Radical String Ensemble.
