TICKETS are now available for this year’s Warwick Words History Festival.
The Festival runs from October 1–7 and welcomes acclaimed authors and guest speakers to the historic town.
A celebration of historical writing, fact and fiction, the Festival will highlight the history of Warwick and the county of Warwickshire, and explore history-themed topics from further afield.
Festival guests include: Juliet Barker, Stefan Buczacki, Sarah Churchwell, Saul David, Max Hasting, Fern Riddell, Alison Weir and Kate Williams who will be celebrating and evaluating diverse individuals and organisations, and local, national and international events.
The wide-ranging programme includes Kings, Queens and Princes, Knights and knaves, Prime Ministers, Presidents, architects, engineers, soldiers, shop-keepers, felons, witches … and Hodge.
