WORLD renowned classical guitarist Craig Ogden will be paying an eagerly-awaited visit to Alvechurch this coming Saturday, March 7.
The popular Australian-born virtuoso, frequently heard on radio and currently on tour across Britain, will introduce and perform favourite pieces by Spanish composers Albéniz – ‘Asturias’ and ‘Sevilla’, and Tarrega – ‘Recuerdos de la Alhambra’ – as well as music by Scarlatti, Coste, Borrios, Legnani, Gary Ryan and George Harrison.
The concert, part of the Alvechurch-based Midland Sinfonia’s current season, will take place in St Laurence Church starting at 7.30pm.
