LOVERS of classical music are in for a real treat when Czech violin superstar, Pavel Šporcl plays the music of his countryman Antonin Dvorak at the opening concert of the English Symphony Orchestra 2019 season.
Šporcl will play Dvorak’s breathtaking Violin Concerto in a programme that also includes the Czech composer’s melodious 8th Symphony and a selection of his Slavonic Dances.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to enjoy some of the greatest music ever produced in the hands of one of today’s finest performers.

It all adds up to a mouthwatering menu of top quality music particularly as it comes off the back of Šporcl’s internationally acclaimed recording of the Violin Concerto with Vladimir Ashkenazy and the Czech Philharmonic.
