UPLIFTING, genre-leaping songs from a rousing quartet are heading to Wythall for what promises to be a fantastic concert.

Led by a sassy double-bass playing singer-songwriter with a rich and powerful voice, Kel Elliott & Her Three Man Orchestra offer quality live music that’s been championed by Grammy award-winning jazz-pop artist Jamie Cullum.

Their concert, Truth and Tall Tales, is inspired by a diverse range of artists from Tom Waits to Ella Fitzgerald, and Bonnie Raitt to Michelle Shocked.

With her infectious, upbeat tales of life and lost love, a big, rich and powerful voice Kel will be joined on stage by Kelvin Leitch on rhythm guitar and vocals, Adam Cross on keyboards, saxophone, bass clarinet and accordion and Jay Riley on saxophone and keyboards.

They’re a band that have wowed audiences from Ireland to Finland and are coming to Wythall with support from Live and Local Worcestershire.

Standard tickets are £12/£10.50 and the gig on Friday, January 19 is at Wythall Community Club 52 Silver Street, B47 6LZ.
