STUDLEY will be getting the festive season off to a busy start with an afternoon and evening of festive fun for the whole village tomorrow (Friday, December 1)
After a successful first year, the Studley Christmas Market will return to the village from 1.30pm until 8pm in Millennium Square on Studley High Street.
This year the market will have 20 stalls offering shoppers a choice of everything from gifts, fresh flowers and local produce to books, jewellery and pet supplies.
Several local organisations will have stalls with fun games and competitions and there will be plenty of food and drink. Two local choirs will be performing to the crowds during the afternoon and evening.
Running alongside the outdoor festivities will be the annual Christmas Fayre in Studley Village Hall from 5pm until 8pm which includes craft stalls and tombolas, Santa’s Grotto with gifts for the children and carol singing.
The annual Studley Christmas Lights Switch-on is at 6.30pm, arranged by the Studley Christmas Lights Committee who this year have raised extra money for new lights to light up parts of the A435 as well as the High Street.
