TOP tribute band Fred Zeppelin are to play in Redditch as part of their 25th anniversary tour.
The band, who have had the honour of Led Zeppelin’s front-man Robert Plant attending three of their gigs and John Bonham’s son Jason even jamming with them on stage, play The White Hart at Headless Cross on Thursday, March 29.
‘The Fredz’ have never taken themselves too seriously but that hasn’t stopped them being rated as one of the top ten live bands to see in any category by Kerrang magazine.
Famous names who have turned out to watch them include Magnum front-man Bob Catley, Whitesnake guitarist Mel Galley and legendary main man of The Move and Wizzard Roy Wood.
Fred Zeppelin were even invited by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page to attend a charity event he is patron of.
Fred Zeppelin are real fans and formed ‘The Fredz’ out of their admiration and love of Led Zeppelin’s music and they also know all the praise belongs to Robert, Jimmy, John Paul Jones, and Bonzo.
Tickets for the gig are £10 on the door or online at www.wegottickets.com/event/430298.
