Guilt-free Christmas shopping for a good cause

Redditch Editorial 16th Nov, 2017   0

FOR some guilt-free Christmas gifts and treats this weekend, visit the Holdings and support the RSPCA.

On Sunday (November 19) the The Holdings Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, is hosting its first ever Christmas Craft Fayre.

The branch, based in Kempsey, continues to take in many abused, neglected and unwanted animals from across the county, including Redditch and Inkberrow.

From 10am until 3pm guests can visit the RSPCA centre and for a variety of gifts and stocking fillers at more than 30 stalls, including candles, Christmas decorations, jewellery, bags, purses, key rings, vases, cushions, bird and hedgehog houses, cat and dog themed gifts, jams, preserves, organic veg and hot crepes.

Alongside Prosecco and mince pies, luckydips and tombolas, Father Christmas has even promised to make an appearance.

Parking is free and entrance costs just £1 entry and is free for under 12s.

More than 220 cats and kittens have been rehomed since The Holdings opened twelve months ago and all proceeds raised will go towards vets bills for animals in branch care.
