FANS of Pink Floyd will surely be looking forward to a visit from some of the UK’s most talented musicians as ‘Floyd in the Flesh’ comes to Redditch, writes Tom Banner.

The eight piece, fully live tribute to Pink Floyd will be performing at the Palace Theatre in Redditch on Friday, April 20 and will be performing classic tracks in the unique style of Pink Floyd, from the 1967 classic ‘Astronomy Domine’ to hits like ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ and ‘Comfortably Numb’.

Using a special light and laser display of stunning, authentic projections on the iconic circular screen the band will recreate the sights and sounds of the authentic Pink Floyd experience.

This is a show music fans will not want to miss. There may even be special appearances from characters such as ‘The Big Pig’ and ‘The Teacher’.

The band have been praised for their relaxed on-stage presence and have been described as true fans of Pink Floyd, happy to let the incredible music take centre stage and join with the audience to celebrate the music of one of the UK’s most iconic and best loved groups.

Floyd in the Flesh will be at the Palace Theatre at 8pm on Friday, April 20. Tickets are available now in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced at £15 (in advance) and £19 (on the day).
