JOE Hyde was all smiles after winning the Junior Winter Series at Redditch Sailing Club.
The talented eight-year-old had the wind in his sails throughout the three month event leaving the opposition in his wake in the process.
Other series winners included Dave Jackson, Andy Beardshaw, Peter Anderson, Alan Cooke and Hilary Farmiloe.
The club, based at Arrow Valley Lake, races on a Sunday morning all year round and Tuesday evenings thoughout the summer.
It also holds regular training programmes for people in landlocked Redditch who fancy taking to the water.
