Mambo Jambo to bring their musical magic to Redditch church fund raiser

THE really rather wonderful Mambo Jambo are playing a fund raising gig at St Philip’s Church in Webheath this Friday, June 8.

An acoustic roots duo Mambo Jambo, are a truly unique two-piece, guaranteed to offer a joyous musical journey bringing together sounds from roots, world, folk and jazz, plus their own compositions.

Featuring Frankie on sax, vocals, clarinet, flute, guitar and percussion and Pete on guitar, vocal, ukulele, tres (traditional Cuban guitar), banjo, accordion and suitcase they’ve won admirers at shows and festivals the length and breadth of the country.

They’re on stage at 7.30pm and admission is £10 on the door while children go in free.

St Philip’s is raising funds to enable the annexe building project to be completed.
