RISING stars from the Emma Charlotte Dance Academy performed three knockout shows at the Palace Theatre last weekend.

More than 1,000 tickets were sold for the show, called Let Your Dreams Set Sail.

The Redditch-based academy performed a range of genres including ballet, tap, freestyle, street, contemporary, acro, and cheerleading.

The youngest performer in the show was three years old.

Principal Emma Aston said: “The children and adult dancers thoroughly enjoyed themselves and they can’t wait to do it again next time.

“I would also like to thank my dancers who performed beautifully and their parents for bringing their children to classes each week.

“It has been great to see them progress and confidently perform in front of a huge audience.”

The Emma Charlotte Dance Academy holds classes at the Redi Centre, Oakenshaw Community Centre, The Space, Cookhill Village Hall and Studley Parish Centre.
