REDDITCH’S homegrown entertainment outfit Indigo Arts are busy setting up their final Pop Up Venue for 2017, next to Caffé Nero on Evesham Walk.
‘A Night with the Violettes’ is a fund-raising gig for the charity starring the all singing harmony girl group with some guest appearances from fellow performers.
The aim is to raise as much as possible for Indigo’s 2018 projects, and ongoing development of their town centre Arts Lab.
The venue will then host a musical by Take 2, Indigo’s performing arts workshop for learning disabled adults, on Wednesday, December 6.
This also promises to be an entertaining evening of theatre, song and dance as the group takes the audience on a tour of a dystopian world controlled by a madman and his computer.
Next on the agenda is a ‘A Musical Revue’ from IndigoCo, offering a selection of songs from the musicals, with a little magic thrown in.
These talented young people already have a well established reputation for great entertainment and this show is for one night only on Friday, December 8.
The Indigo season ends on December 15 with their Christmas Cabaret, an evening of festive celebrations, with performances by all their singing groups, guaranteed to bring the spirit of the season to all those who join them.
The company then takes a well deserved breather before launching into 2018 with some exciting new projects, including a production of the musical Alice in Wonderland.
Anyone interested in joining Indigo can email Cathy on firstname.lastname@example.org.
