REDDITCH musician Alex Cottam, aged 18, lead and rhythm guitarist with ‘The Verse’ is heading off with the rest of the group as they support The Hara Band in a ten night tour this coming April.
Completing The Verse are lead vocalist Jack Harrison, aged 18 and from Penkridge, drummer Jack Taplin, and bassist Dean Punnegar, both 17 and from Nuneaton.
The Verse have a loyal and popular following here in Redditch and since forming just over 12 months ago have gone from strength to strength playing and headlining a number of gigs.
They also performed in a ‘Save the Children Foundation’ concert and last summer played to raise money for the Charlotte & Craig’s Saving Hearts Foundation.
They’ve also been busy writing their own material and have even opened an online shop.
The tour supporting The Hara Band opens in Sheffield on April 7 and closes at the Birmingham 02 Academy on April 29.
