MAKE a date for next Saturday, September 16 when samba band Oya Batacuda will join the fun at the final Bandstand event of the year.
It marks the climax of a summer long series of entertainment on Church Green and promises to be the biggest and best yet.
Tommy Wilson’s funfair will be in the town centre too plus there will be lots to see and do as well as plenty of music and dance.
There will also be a fancy dress competition with a fat £500 holiday voucher up for grabs for the winner.
It all runs from 12noon to 4pm by St Stephen’s Church.
