BOOK your seats for an evening of ‘Choirs at the Palace’ showcasing the talents of four local ensembles: Redditch Rock Choir, the Bel Canto Singers, Arrow Vale Singers and the Redditch Gospel Choir.

Covering everything from choral to spiritual, traditional folk songs to operetta, musical theatre to pop and rock the gig, which is on tomorrow, Saturday, February 10, promises something for everyone.

Redditch Rock Choir is part of the award-winning Rock Choir brand with more than 25,000 members across the UK.

The Redditch group began in 2012 under the direction of local musician Christa Hugo and have performed at a myriad of exciting venues including Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, the Genting Arena and the world famous Abbey Road Studios.

Arrow Vale Singers are a mixed voice choir of around 50 singers of all ages which meets every Wednesday evening from 8pm to 10pm at Batchley Community Centre, Redditch.

The choir began 40 years ago when the West Mercia Police choir merged with a local group and ever since, the Arrow Vale Singers have performed numerous concerts and raised funds for many local and national charities.

The Bel Canto Singers were formed in June 1990 by Des Evans and since then have enjoyed a wealth of engagements from Birmingham to Warwick, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Stratford.

In 2004, John Clark (B Ed (Hons) M Ed) became their musical director and has inspired them with his talent, ideas and enthusiasm.

Redditch Community Gospel Choir has for five years served the Redditch & Bromsgrove communities.

Its aim is to bring together a diverse group of the community who are inspired to sing.

Gospel music is lively and embraces all music genres ranging from Jazz to Rock and members hope to show that being part of a Gospel choir can be a very fun and heart-warming experience.

Tickets for this four gigs in one night cost just £12 in person from the box office or on 01527 65203 or online at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk .
