Tribute night atthe Palace as band pays homage to Led Zeppelin II

2019 sees the 50th anniversary of the release of one of the greatest albums of all time – Led Zeppelin II.

Now tribute band Whole Lotta Led are heading to the Palace Theatre for fans to relive the heady days of one of the greatest rock bands ever and to recreate the songs from that iconic album.

Whole Lotta Led have always avoided using wigs and costumes, focusing instead on the music and this five-piece line-up uncannily recreates the sounds of Led Zep’s original studio albums.

That’s because they are all about celebrating the music which Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and Redditch’s very own John Bonham created during their illustrious career.

All five members of Whole Lotta Led lived through the heady times of Led Zeppelin’s 1970s heyday and all worshipped the band their rock heroes.

Containing such classics as ‘Ramble On’, ‘Thank You’ and of course ‘Whole Lotta Love’ Led Zeppelin II was the LP which catapulted the four piece from being just another Sixties blues group to one of the most influential and successful bands of all time.

The first half of the show will consist of a selection of songs from Led Zeppelin’s vast back catalogue.

The second will feature the whole of Led Zeppelin II played in the same sequence as the original LP.

The gig is on Friday, January 25 and tickets are £21 from the box office in person or on 01527 65203 or buy online at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk
