REDDITCH residents are in for a treat when the brilliant Indigo Arts gather all their singers together for an evening of song at The Church on the Green on on Saturday, July 7.
Indigo Arts has been at the heart of community singing in the town since the launch of its flagship music maker project in 2001.
Since then it has worked with hundreds of local people, aged from four to 84, from a huge range of backgrounds and abilities, to encourage a love of singing, an investment in community and an awareness of the health, well being and confidence building benefits that singing brings.
The result has brought accolades not only locally, but from international audiences and critics who have experienced their performances at the Edinburgh festival Fringe, as well as local community venues, and their ever popular Pop Up gigs with support from the Kingfisher Centre.
Indigo Voices, bring all their singing groups together for one night in the beautiful setting of St Stephen’s Church – The Church on the Green – for an evening of rock, pop and gospel delivered in Indigo’s inimitable style by their talented performers.
Tickets priced at £9.50 (£8.50 children) are available online at www.indigoarts.org.uk, from the Church Bookshop, or the Music Shop in the Kingfisher Centre.
Proceeds will be shared between Indigo and St Stephen’s Church.
