Vintage fishing tackle fair is coming to Redditch

Redditch Editorial 2nd Nov, 2017   0

THOSE on the hunt for vintage fishing tackle are invited to the the largest antiques fair solely dedicated to fishing tackle in the country – and it’s happening in Redditch.

The National Vintage Fishing Tackle Fair on November 19 will be held at the Abbey Stadium Sports Stadium from 9am until 2pm.

For a £3 entry fee, punters can browse more than 35 different stalls, access free evaluations by Neil Freeman, and get their equipment restored and repaired by experts on hand.

The new venue has been chosen after the Kingsley Sports Centre closed its doors earlier this year, however the event is set to be better than ever.

John Andrews, organiser of the National Vintage Fishing Tackle Fair, said: “I have been running the fair for thirteen years and the fair itself has been going for more than twenty. During that time, we’ve seen great success with the event and support from the Redditch community.”
