GREASE is the word at Studley High School where students are putting on their own production of the groundbreaking musical in this, its 40th year.
Youngsters from all year groups are sacrificing break time, lunch and after school, to rehearse for the upcoming show.
The cast aim to bring to life the music from the 50s and the story of Danny and Sandy and although they haven’t got Olivia Newton John they do have Olivia Hinde, head of performing arts, as director of proceedings.
“The cast is led by Nathan Chapman as Danny Zuko and Hollie Troth as Sandy, supported by 65 committed and talented students, performing front of stage and behind the scenes,” she said
“We would love support from our community to come and see the hard work our pupils have put into this production.”
The show runs from June 27 to 29 at 7pm.
