POLICE have issued a warning to drivers after an increase in vehicle theft and people trying door handles across Redditch.
Several incidents have been reported to the Redditch Police Safer Neighbourhood Team in several areas, including Greenlands, Lodge Park and Woodrow.
Although officers are working to tackle and prevent these issues from occurring, they say it is important to share advice to try and prevent motorists becoming a victim of crime.
Among the tips are for people to ensure their vehicles are securely locked when leaving it unattended, even if this is only for a few minutes.
