THE 360 Play family entertainment centre in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre has chosen Redditch’s Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation as its official charity for 2018.
The Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation was set up by Rob and Maggie Underwood after their daughter Charlotte died suddenly in December 2010 of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome.
Then three years later their son Craig tragically passed away from Vascular Ethos Danlos Syndrome.
Rob and Maggie believe that venues should be equipped with potentially lifesaving equipment such as defibrillators.
As a result of the foundation’s fund raising activities, every school in Redditch now has a defibrillator on site, said 360 Play’s Michelle Pearson-Elliott.
“The Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation is a wonderful organisation for 360 Play to support as the official charity for our Redditch centre in 2018,” she added.
“The charity does valuable work in raising funds for life saving equipment to be installed at venues all around Redditch and we are delighted to support this.
“We’ll be assisting CCSHF in various ways and look forward to working with the team in providing some new fund raising opportunities which will benefit the organisation, be it charity events held by 360 Play, the use of our centre by the foundation for fundraising events, raffle prizes or other activities.”
