AN ASSAULT in Redditch which left a 70 year old man with multiple injuries has prompted a police appeal to locate two teenage boys as part of ongoing investigations.
The incident occurred in a field near Salford Close in Redditch between 5.15pm and 5.30pm on Wednesday April, 19 when the victim was walking his dog.
The alleged perpetrators approached the victim and said they wanted to show him something further up the field, they then pushed the victim into a ditch causing him injuries to his knee and head.
One of the alleged perpetrators wanted in connection with the incident was described as approximately 5ft 9′, average build, aged around 14-15 years old with shortish, mousey brown hair. He was wearing grey trousers and a lightweight dark coat.
The other, was described as approximately 5ft 7′, smaller build, aged around 14-15 years old with shortish, mosey brown hair. He was wearing grey trousers and a dark grey zip up jacket. He was described as having a foreign accent, although the origin of the accent is unknown.
