A YOUNG man has died following a crash in Redditch on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the Coventry Highway at around 8.30pm on Saturday (May 27) where two cars were involved in the crash.
The driver of a black Audi was a man, believed to be 19 years old, and he was found in cardiac arrest.
An ambulance spokesman said: “Sadly there was nothing that could be done and was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The passenger of the other car – a red Seat – was a woman in her 20s, and she was treated for a chest injury and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and she remains in a critical condition.
