WIDER VISION: A REALISTIC and credible plan for the future of the Alexandra Hospital has been set out by Parliamentary candidate Neal Stote as part of his wider vision for Redditch.
His plan includes:
• Lobbying for a full A&E
• Lobbying Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust to ensure women in Redditch can receive their antenatal care locally
• Working with Birmingham Women’s Hospital to ensure more capacity for Redditch women wanting to deliver there
• Continue to fight to have full paediatrics and maternity restored to the Alex – a campaign he has fought for the last 11 years
• Oppose planned cuts to NHS funding and further privatisation
• Oppose any further service reductions
Mr Stote has also set out his priorities in other area. They include:
• Fight for a positive Brexit that benefits Redditch businesses and communities
• Protect funding levels for our schools
• Attract high quality, well paid jobs and fight for a fair wage for all
• Lobby for more action on reducing the number of empty homes in Redditch
• A new kind of politics that is open, honest and puts the needs of Redditch first not those of a political He said: party
