THE bacon and sausages were sizzling in Alcester Town Hall on Saturday as local Rotarians got cooking for another of their highly successful Big Breakfast events.
They served up 350 cooked breakfasts and made £1,500 profit in the process, money which will go to support local charities including the Alcester Dementia Respite and Cafe.
Prepared by members and friends of the Alcester Rotary they’ll be at it again this Saturday at The Crawford Hall in Bidford on Avon.
The Big Breakfasts have become major social event in the town and local organisers Vaughan and Kay Blake said: “Bigger and Better at our twice yearly event, our Autumn Big Breakfast drew visitors from all over the Midlands and will enable us to support many Alcester charities as a result.”
