BUILDING society staff cooked up a sweet treat to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Workers from the West Brom in the town centre hosted a winter warmer cake and coffee day.
Customers tucked into a variety of home-made treats in return for a donation which will go towards supporting people affected by dementia.
Branch manager David Peckham said: “Alzheimer’s Society is our charity of the year and we hope this latest fund-raising event will help us brew up a tasty total on their behalf.”
Marc Shaw, Alzheimer’s Society’s community fundraiser for the West Midlands, added: “We are extremely grateful to the West Brom and its customers for their continued support of Alzheimer’s Society.
“Their efforts will not only help to support people with dementia and their carers, but also raise awareness of the condition which affects over 73,000 people in the West Midlands.”
