CHILDREN at a Redditch nursery have been busy this week collecting coins and decorating spots for Children In Need.
The youngsters at Ragamuffins on Birchfield Road created a mile-long trail of pennies throughout their nursery to raise money and with the help of their teachers and parents managing to raise £180 for the cause.
Each child entered a spot decorating competition and the children also had a party with friends and parents.
Head of pre-school education Jo Walker said: “We are very pleased with the support everyone has shown and this is the most we’ve ever raised.
“We had a lovely day and it was great that all the parents and families could join us and get involved with out event.”
The baby unit at the nursery also did their bit for the charity, holding a bake sale with treats for everyone to enjoy.
