Acts of Kindness toy appeal aims to spread hope to families in Redditch

THIS Christmas, Acts of Kindness (AoK) in Redditch is partnering with local charities and organisations to ensure that no child in the community goes without gifts during the festive season.

Through the AoK Toy Appeal, the scheme aims to deliver joy to children who might otherwise face a holiday without presents, providing toys, books, games, and clothing to those in need.

“We believe that every child deserves a little bit of magic at Christmas,” said Nancy Deakin, Wellbeing Project Manager at Acts of Kindness.

“Through this appeal, we hope to spread festive cheer and create lasting memories for families who need it most.”

People can help by donating toys, books, games, or piece of clothing to help brighten a child’s Christmas.

Donations can be dropped off at Number 24, Church Green East, Redditch. It opens between 10am and 1pm from Monday to Friday.

Alternatively, donations can be collected by prior arrangement.

Mrs Deakin added: “We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer.

“Together, we can bring smiles to children in our community this Christmas.”
