Aerospace jubilee open day raises Primrose cash

AN OPEN day at Mettis Aerospace in Redditch to toast its platinum jubilee raised £2,000 for the Primrose Hospice.

The Windsor Road based company celebrated its 75 year anniversary with a range of activities including a raffle, with 25 prizes on offer including £500 of holiday vouchers, flying lessons and a supercar driving experience.

The Primrose Hospice was chosen as Mettis’ charity of the year by staff in 2014.

Among the members of the project team who helped raise the cash were Rebecca Baker, Karen Price, Garry Hale, David Green, Roy Coles, Jane Rose, Zac Smout, Kaye Ward, Adam Merricks and David Mitchell.
