YOUNGSTERS at Holyoakes Field First School enjoyed embracing their inner rhythm this week as part of a creative curriculum.
January sees students at the Bridge Street site working on an African based theme called ‘The Enchanted Kingdom’.
All classes from Reception right through to Year 4 had the time of their lives taking part in a special African drumming day on Monday (January 11).
During the session the children learnt about the differences between pulse and rhythm enabling them to create their own tunes.
