A COLOURING competition organised by Huntley’s Funeral Service to mark Remembrance Sunday has found a winner.
Nine-year-old Aimee Hornsey from Webheath Primary Academy School took the prize with town centre chaplain and vicar of St Stephen’s the Reverend Paul Lawlor acting as judge.
The competition ran from mid to late October with the whole school participating.
Samantha Pitt from Huntley’s said: “We would like to thank Webheath Primary Academy School for their participation, the Rev Lawlor for taking the time to judge the competition for us and Gemma Evans of Gemma’s Gift Baskets & Bouquets for her kind donation of the hamper for the winner.
“Our thanks to all those for taking part and a big well done to Aimee!”
