ALCESTER and District Lions is looking to recruit new members to make a difference to their local community.
The voluntary group gets involved in a number of fundraising events including the summer charity street market, raffles, quiz nights and garage sales.
It also supports global schemes, contributing to eye health and environmental projects.
Members meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm at the Unionist Club in High Street.
Organiser Roger Pemberton said: “If you can’t commit to full membership, we welcome volunteers for one-off events like foodbank collections.”
Call Roger on 01789 490750 or email: [email protected] for further information.
