AN ALCESTER care home has entered into a town project to celebrate 20 years of serving the community.
Alcester Window Wanderland is a community project where people transform the town into a magical outdoor gallery every January by decorating their windows.
Staff, residents and guests commemorated this special occasion with a games day complete with skittles, hoopla, and balloon tennis, followed by a special cake made by the kitchen staff.
Cherry Trees has built up excellent reputations within its local communities with the home regularly holding events and activities for its residents and surrounding neighbours.
General manager Debbie Osborne said: “It is important to recognise the hard work of our staff here at Cherry Trees care home.
“For the past 20 years, we have provided a caring home for our residents as well as the best possible environment for our staff.
“This event not only enables us to celebrate their hard work, but it’s also an opportunity to thank the residents, their relatives and friends who have made Cherry Trees such a loving home.”
