OVER Easter half term Alcester Churches Together have come together to provide free activities for families.
The initiative came as local families faced another school holiday under restrictions and it’s hoped the activities will keep children entertained and take some pressure off parents.
Attractions have included making a pine cone bird feeder, seed planting and an egg box scavenger hunt.
Forthcoming attractions are cookie or brownie home baking kits on Monday, April 12, stickers, bead bracelets and scratch art on Tuesday, April 13, and making a nature wreath on Wednesday, April 14.
It’s all happening outside the Eric Payne Community Centre from 11.30am to 12.30pm on a first come, first served basis.
Beth Clarke from Alcester Churches Together said: “It’s been lovely to see so many families brave the cold and pick up all the activities.”
