THOSE with green fingers and a curious mind are invited to attend the very first Alcester Gardening Club talk of 2018.
On Thursday, February 1, from 7.15pm, the club will host its annual general meeting which will be followed by a talk from guest speaker, designer Lucy Hartley.
Lucy took on the design of a new natural sensory garden at Brandon Marsh, near Coventry, on a voluntary basis when newly-qualified.
It is now five years since the garden opened and in this talk she will tell the story from conception in 2010 to the present day.
Meetings take place at the Centre, Jubilee Court, accessed via Lea Close, Alcester, usually on the first Thursday of the month.
