TOWNSPEOPLE lined the streets for Alcester’s annual Christmas Light Festival.
The Alcester Silver Band sang seasonal carols during the event on Sunday (November 30) and the festivities ended outside St Nicholas Church where the Rotary Clubs of Alcester handed over cheques to more than a dozen good causes including Alcester Scouts and Guides and the Rotary International Foundation’s ‘War on Polio.’
Applications for loved ones to be remembered at the ‘Tree of Light’ are available from the Alcester branch of the bank on the High Street.
