Alcester residents have a grand old time at Wild West party

RESIDENTS at Cherry Trees Care Home in Alcester enjoyed a rootin’ tootin’ good time as they celebrated National Cowboy Day with a Wild West-themed party.

The care home was transformed into a scene straight out of the Old West, complete with cowboy hats, bandanas, and the sounds of country music.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, chef Ayshat Gandarova prepared a campfire stew and other tasty treats, ensuring everyone had a true taste of the Wild West.

Staff members joined in the fun, sporting their best cowboy attire and creating a memorable experience for the residents.

“I’m incredibly proud of my team here at Cherry Trees,” said general manager Debbie Osborne.

“Their dedication and love for our residents shine through in events like this, events which truly embody a whole-home approach to care.”

Lead activities officer Carly Marshall added: “Our community’s cowboy day wasn’t just a celebration, it’s a testament to the amazing spirit of our residents.

“The impact of these events are immeasurable.”
