Alcester residents invited to name police priorities for start of 2017

Ross Crawford 5th Dec, 2016   0

THE Alcester South Neighbourhood Police Team is asking residents to set their priorities for the next three months.

Suggestions for the priorities come from the public, local authorities and crime patterns.

The suggestions are then put into a Poll for the public to have a chance to vote on.

People unable to vote on-line can still cast a vote by contacting the Team or by attending a community forum.

The priorities are extra to the normal work of the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

The latest poll is now open but will close on December 13.

The options are:

Extra patrols to target and deter poaching offences.

Extra patrols to target and deter vehicle crime.

Extra patrols to target and deter thefts from outbuildings.

In Bidford – extra patrols to target and deter anti social behaviour.

In Arrow – extra patrols / checks to deter speeding through the village.

In Little Alne – extra patrols / checks to deter speeding through the area.
