AN ALCESTER school has been praised for how they include pupils with special needs or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Tudor Grange Primary Academy Haselor has been recognised for their inclusive practice in recent Ofsted inspections.
Inspectors highlighted the schools’ commitment to ensuring pupils were supported to participate, feel a sense of belonging, and achieve their potential.
This includes pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), those experiencing disadvantage, and others who may face additional barriers to learning.
At Tudor Grange Primary, inclusion was described as being ‘at the heart of everything they do’.
Inspectors highlighted its personalised approaches, and targeted strategies such as reading interventions and emotional regulation activities.
John Coleman, executive director for children and young people at Warwickshire County Council, said: “These inspection outcomes are a fantastic achievement for the schools involved and a testament to the commitment of staff, leaders and families to inclusive education.
“Seeing schools recognised for strong inclusion under Ofsted’s new framework demonstrates the positive impact of shared values, collaboration and continued investment in inclusive practice.”
